Chick Corea was a highly influential pianist and composer who passed away in 2021. His influence reached many corners of music: ranging from Straight–ahead Jazz to Modal Jazz, Latin Jazz, Jazz Rock, Jazz Fusion, Free Jazz, and more. In order to pay tribute to his diverse career, we will perform his compositions from different eras. You’ll get to hear the flute play over Latin grooves, re-live the famous duos with Gary Burton on Vibraphone, and, most importantly, a group of musicians led by a pianist who loves Chick Corea!
