Opening Reception for 10 x 10 Challenge Art Exhibit

Artists began with a 10-inch by 10-inch blank canvas and then created original works for this challenge exhibit sponsored by the Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center. The Rainier Trio: Romantic music and more

This 60-minute concert presents gems for violin, viola and piano that are famiilar (such as "The Entertainer" and "Lara's Theme" from Doctor Zhivago) as well as arrangements of familar pieces from Mendelssohn, Schumann and more. Presented with assistance from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

Tanglewood Marionettes: The Dragon King

An underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore, The Dragon King tells the tale of an intrepid Grandmother who journeys to the bottom of the sea in search of the elusive Dragon King, and the answers to why he has forsaken the land above. Large Marionette puppets bring this classic tale to life and continue our Chinese New Year celebration!
